ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S PATROL LOG FOR NEWSTEAD AND AKRON FOR THE WEEK OF 09/06/20 TO 09/12/20

09/06/20
Police took a report for criminal mischief on John St.
Deputies responded to Buell St for a report of a vehicle traveling recklessly in the area. The vehicle was gone prior to patrols arrival.
First Aid responded to Martin Rd for a male with chest pains.
09/07/20
First Aid responded to Wesley Dr for a male feeling dizzy.
Police and Deputies responded to Scotland Rd for a report of a larceny in progress. A person reported interrupting two suspects in the process attempting to steal a dirt bike. The subjects were located a short time later by Police. The matter is under investigation.
A burglar alarm was activated on Davison Rd. It was a false alarm.
First Aid responded to responded to Hawthorne St for a lift assist.

Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Main St. The complaint was unfounded.
A concerned motorist reported a vehicle traveling recklessly on Scotland Rd. The vehicle was gone prior to patrols arrival.

Police responded to Scotland Rd for a one car motor vehicle accident. A vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.

A burglar alarm was activated on Main Rd. It was set off in error.
First Aid responded to Saratoga LA.
First Aid responded to N Millgrove Rd.

Deputies assisted with a neighbor dispute on Greenbush Rd.

A burglar alarm was activated on Howe Rd. It was set off in error.
Police conducted a welfare check on Scotland Rd.
Deputies assisted with a property dispute on Dogwood St.

A two car motor vehicle accident was reported on Main St. Minor injuries were reported.
Deputies conducted a welfare check on Clair Dr.

First Aid responded to Maple Rd.
Firs Aid responded to Countyline Rd for a male stung by a bee.
A one car motor vehicle accident was reported on Main Rd. A vehicle left the roadway and ended up
in a ditch. The driver failed multiple sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
They later registered a .16% Blood Alcohol content and the Sheriff’s substation.
08/29/20
Police conducted a welfare check on Eckerson Ave.
A 911 hang up call was received at Thistle Downs Dr. It was a child playing with the phone.

Police responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on John St. A vehicle struck a telephone pole.
The driver failed multiple sobriety tests and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
