CANCER SERVICES PROGRAM OF ERIE COUNTY PLANS WEBINAR ON COLORECTAL CANCER

Second-in-series event offers screening, prevention information

ERIE COUNTY, NY— The Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) and its Cancer Services Program will present the second of three cancer prevention webinars on Monday, September 28. This 40-minute presentation will have a specific focus on colorectal cancer.

Attendees will have their names entered into a drawing for a grocery store gift card.  To register, email rachel.dusza@erie.gov at least one day prior to the scheduled event. Participants will need to provide their email for the link to sign in, and will also need the Zoom app installed on their computer or smartphone in order to see the event.

* WHAT...Temperatures in the mid to upper 30s well inland from the
  Lake Erie and Lake Ontario shorelines will result in frost
  formation.

* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, and Northern Erie counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if
  left uncovered.

Evelyn L. Cannella

Evelyn L. Cannella, 85 of Williamsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday (September 17, 2020) at Beechwood Continuing Care Facility. She was born January 12, 1935 in Cornell, IL, a daughter of the late James and Lizzie Thompson O’Neill. She was the wife of the late Paul Cannella and mother of the late Karen Cannella. Survivors include daughters, Alice Cannella and Kathryn Cannella. Granddaughter, Danielle Cannella.
