  1. First, my condolences to Izzy’s family. I wanted to share 2 Izzy stories. I used to own a bar in Batavia back in the day, and Izzy and the guys used to come in frequently. On Halloween one year, they all showed up as a roving band of pirates, and the next year they were Vikings! He had a cannon and lit it off on Swan St at who knows what time. Woke up the whole neighborhood! When the cops showed up, we all just blamed it on “those darn kids”. Izzy was also the guy that returned my bar neon to me when one of his crew stole it. Nice guy, funny guy. He will be missed. -JAP-
