ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S PATROL LOG FOR NEWSTEAD AND AKRON FOR THE WEEK OF 01/23/22 TO 01/29/22
The Fire Department and patrol responded to Miland Rd for a roll over accident. A vehicle left the
roadway and struck power lines. The road was shut down for most of the day to restore power to the
area. Minor injuries were reported.
Patrol responded to Main Rd for a two car motor vehicle accident. A vehicle rear ended another. No
injuries were reported.
First Aid responded to Westgate Ave for a female having difficulty breathing.
First Aid responded to Main Rd for a female with injuries from a fall.
First Aid responded to Sandhill Rd for a lift assist.
Patrol conducted a welfare check on Belmont Dr.
Patrol responded to Hiller Rd for a one car motor vehicle accident. A vehicle left the roadway and
rolled over. No injuries were reported.
Patrol responded to Cedar St for a report of a road rage incident. The parties involved were gone
prior to patrols arrival.
Patrol assisted with a neighbor dispute on Buell St.
Patrol responded to Akron Falls Park for a report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked overnight.
A search of the park for a possible lost or injured hiker began. A short time later the subject in
question was located safely at home.
First Aid responded to Gerald Dr for a female with cardiac issues.
A burglar alarm was activated on Hunts Corners Rd. It was a false alarm.
First Aid responded to Downey Rd.
First Aid responded to Main ST for a male with abdominal pains.
Patrol served an active warrant on Main Rd out of Buffalo Police Department.
Patrol responded to Shepard Ave for a welfare check.
First Aid responded to Danita Dr for a male with back pain.
First Aid responded to Buell St for a female choking.
A burglar alarm was activated on Scotland Rd. It was a false alarm.
