ERIE COUNTY SHERIFF’S PATROL LOG FOR NEWSTEAD AND AKRON FOR THE WEEK OF 12/12/21 TO 12/18/21

12/12/21
Patrol responded to the area of Draper Rd and Hunts Corners Rd for a report of low hanging wires.
National Grid was notified.
A two car motor vehicle accident was reported at Scotland Rd and Bloomingdale Rd. No injuries
were reported.
First aid responded for a female that had low oxygen levels on Morgan St.
12/13/21
Patrol responded to Quarry Hill Est for a report of a suspicious person wearing a dark coat. The male
was located and given a ride.
Patrol responded to a report of a pole leaning into the road on Hunts Corners Rd. National Grid was
notified.
A black lab was running loose on Buckwheat Rd. The dog was turned over to the Dog Control
Officer.
First Aid responded for a male that fells on South Ayers Rd.
A burglar alarm was activated on Cedar St. It was a false alarm.
12/14/21
A burglar alarm was activated on Tonawanda Creek Rd. It was a false alarm.
First Aid responded to Steiner Rd for a female that fell and possibly broke her arm.

Patrol responded to a welfare check on Buell St. It was reported there was a person upstairs stomping
and causing a commotion. All parties advised.
First Aid responded to Skyline Dr for a female with chest pains.
12/15/21
First Aid responded to Tonawanda Creek Rd for a female possibly having a stroke.
Patrol responded to Hawthorne St for a report that a package that showed delivered was never
received.
A report of a single vehicle in the ditch was reported on Buell St. No injuries reported.
First Aid responded to Perry’s Ice Cream for a report of an employee that fell down stairs.

12/16/21
Patrol responded for a noise complaint on Kathryn Dr. Caller reported someone was revving a motor.
Patrol responded to a welfare check on Main Rd. Parties spoken to by patrol and all was in order.
A car- deer accident was reported at Swift Mills and Brackett Rd. The deer ran away. No injuries
reported.
A two car accident was reported on Dye Rd and Clarence Center Rd. Minor injuries were reported.
First Aid responded to Saratoga La for a female feeling ill and warm.
Patrol responded for a noise complaint on Hoag Av. Caller reported loud music in the area.
A two car accident was reported on Buell St. No injuries were reported.
12/17/21
A burglar alarm was activated on Jackson St. It was a false alarm.
Patrol responded to Parkview Av for a 911 hang up. It was accidental.
First Aid responded to Buell St for a female passed out.
First Aid responded to Dogwood St for a male having a asthma attack.
Patrol responded to Hunts Corners Rd for a welfare check. Caller was concerned for a family
member they have not heard from. All was in order.

Patrol responded to South Newstead Rd for a report of a deer in the road. The deer was dispatched by
patrol and moved off the roadway.
First Aid responded to Tonawanda Creek Rd for a female feeling dizzy.
12/18/21
A car fire was reported on Skye Rd and Counsel House Rd. No one was inside of the car.
First Aid responded to Aspen St for a female that fell.
A car-deer accident was reported Crittenden Rd. No injuries reported.
Patrol responded to Eckerson Av for a report of a vehicle that stopped in front of a residence and
took pictures. Patrol checked the area and the vehicle was gone prior to arriving.
