AKRON POLICE BEAT MAY 24 thru JUNE 6, 2021

05/24 – Patrol assisted a citizen on John Street with a civil matter, they were
advised.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Westgate Avenue.
05/25 – A brush fire was reported in Akron Falls Park, it was very small and
extinguished by the fire department.
05/26 – A resident was locked out of their vehicle on Main Street, patrol was able
to get it open for them.
05/27 – A loose dog was reported on Townsend Street, the dog control officer will
handle.
A driver was locked out of their car on Bloomingdale Road, patrol was
able to get it unlocked.
Patrol responded to a Brodies Way residence for a first-aid call.
Patrol conducted traffic enforcement on Bloomingdale Road, no
violations were reported.
A disorderly person was reported on Townsend Street, they were advised.

Loud music was reported in Russell Park, the subjects were advised and
complied.
A car/deer accident was reported on Main Road.
05/28 – A disturbance was reported on Eckerson Avenue, it was unfounded.
05/29 – A Buffalo woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant, when the car
she was a passenger in was stopped on Indian Falls Road. She was turned
over to Buffalo Police.
05/31 – A disturbance was reported on Cedar Street, they were advised.
Disorderly persons were reported in Akron Falls Park, they were ejected.
Traffic enforcement was conducted on East Avenue, no violations were
reported.
06/01 – A suspicious incident was reported on Clinton Street, no problems were
found.
Patrol assisted a pearl Place resident with a DMV issue.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Main Street.
A Westgate Avenue resident reported a possible case of fraud, they were
advised.
A suspicious incident was reported on Shepard Avenue, it was unfounded.
06/02 – A loud music complaint was investigated on Cedar Street, all was quiet.

06/03 – A suspicious incident was investigated on John Street, no problems were
found.
Patrol responded to Cedar Street on a report of children operating R/C
cars in the street, they were gone when patrol arrived.
06/04 – Patrol assisted a disabled motorist on Bloomingdale Road.
A 911 hang up call was investigated on Bloomingdale Road, a child was
playing with the phone.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Main Street.
A suspicious incident was investigated on Holly Street, no problems were
found.
06/05 – An alarm was reported at a Cedar Street business, it was accidental.
Criminal mischief was reported on Clinton Street, a car window was
broken.
Traffic enforcement was conducted on Jackson Street, no violations were
reported.
Unauthorized soliciting was reported on Skyline Drive, the subjects left
the area before patrol arrived.
An alarm was reported at a Main Road business, everything appeared

secure when patrol arrived.
06/06 – Patrol responded to a Brodies Wat residence for a first-aid call.
An alarm was reported at a Main Street business, it was accidental.
