Lyda Ann Taylor, 93 of Akron, passed away Friday (April 23, 2021) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
She was born January 10, 1928 in Lancaster, NY, a daughter of the late Eldon and Alda Bumpus Mook.
Lyda enjoyed reading, gardening and knitting. She was a sports enthusiast, and cheered on the Buffalo Sabres and Syracuse Orange. Most of all, she enjoyed her family and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Patricia) Taylor of Akron. Daughters, Ann (Jack) Hagan of West Seneca, Kim Taylor of Akron, Phyllis (Robert) Whiting of Akron, Barbara (Kelley) Smith of Missouri and Sandra (Rick) Regan of Gasport. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was the wife of the late Charles F. Taylor and mother of the late Charles F. Taylor Jr.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family with burial in Clarence Fillmore Cemetery.
