Patricia Elsie Clouse

Patricia Elsie Clouse, 85 of Akron, Passed away peacefully Sunday (January 3, 2021) at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1935 in Buffalo, NY, a daughter of the late Melvin and Elsie Denz Knoll.

Patricia loved spending time with her family and prayed for each of them everyday. Pat’s family would often have get togethers just to spend time with each other. Her strong faith led her children to a personal relationship with Christ. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, making Florida her winter home for 30 years. One of Pat’s favorite pastimes was going out to eat. She especially had a sweet tooth and loved her hot fudge sundaes and cheesecake.

She is survived by her husband and best friend, Herman Milo Clouse, whom she married August 19, 1958 and lived a wonderful life with for the past 62 years. Mother of Debra (Norbert) Schroeder, Herman (Darlene) Clouse, Patricia (Lans) Lay, Scott (Carole) Clouse and Chrischell (David) Samolis. Grandmother of Stephen, Andrew (Courtney), Erik, Eric, Sara, Katelyn (Clint), Scott, Lucas, Bailey, Sidney, Cole and Jacob. Great-grandmother of Kinsley, Austin, Jayce, Cade, Evan, Silas and Luke Thomas. Sister of Alice (Knoll) Clouse.

Patricia was the sister of the late Melvin and Richard Knoll.

A celebration of her life will be planned for a later date.
