Rotary is the world’s first service club organization and is dedicated to humanitarian service advocating goodwill and peace around the world and in local communities. There are 30,000 Rotary clubs worldwide made up of 1.2 million members. The Rotary Club of Akron Newstead
is one of those clubs.

*The ACS Interact Club, which is our high school Rotary, recently held a very successful food drive for the A/N Food Pantry.
*The Club has donated a shelter at the community’s bike path west of Clarence Center Road at the split to the two Barnum crossroads.
*The Annual Christmas project is well under way and will result is assisting Akron Newstead families during the Holidays.
*At a recent club regular meeting “Tie Blankets” were made and will provide some added warmth throughout our community.
