Southeastern Niagara County in western New York... * Until 545 PM EDT.. * At 451 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Blasdell, or over Lackawanna, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Buffalo, Cheektowaga, West Seneca, Clarence, Lackawanna, Kenmore, Depew, Amherst, Tonawanda and Lancaster. This includes Interstate 90 between exits 57 and 49. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail and damaging winds and continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Jenni went from no work to all work yesterday! She had her first of many doubles as part of a skeleton crew. The restaurants opening up right now are limited to 25% capacity, must keep tables 6 feet apart, and require patrons to wear masks and have their temperature taken upon entrance.

Bonita Jonathan, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 23, 2020. She was born in Gowanda, NY on November 28, 1940 to Leroy and Irma (Skye) Stafford.
Bonita is a proud member of the Turtle clan. She retired from Fisher Price in 1997. She enjoyed going to garage sales, camping, bowling and playing softball. She was an avid collector of anything turtle and known as number one spectator at any sporting event her many grand and great grandchildren participated in.
