JULY 29, THRU AUGUST 4, 2019

07/29 – A suspicious incident was reported on Scotland Road, everything checked
okay.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Westgate Avenue.
Disorderly youths were reported jumping off the falls in Akron Falls Park.
They were advised and ejected.
An Akron woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant, after she
approached patrol with a legal question. She was turned over to Depew police.
An open door was found at a John Street business, it was secured by
patrol.
07/30 – A fire alarm was reported at a Main Street business, it was caused by
burnt food.
Erratic operation was reported on Crittenden Road, the vehicle was
stopped and the driver was issued a summons.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Bloomingdale Road.
07/31 – Disorderly persons were reported jumping off the falls at Akron Falls
Park, they were advised and ejected.

A Buffalo man was arrested for driving while his license was suspended,
when he was stopped on Indian Falls Road. He was released on an appearance
ticket and the car was turned over to a licensed driver.
A Cheektowaga man was charged with driving a car with a suspended
registration, when he was stopped on East Avenue. He was released on
appearance tickets and the license plates were seized. The car was left on a
friend’s property.
A disturbance was reported on Washington Street, it was unfounded.
08/01 – Patrol checked the welfare of a Shepard Avenue resident at the request of
their family, everything checked okay.
Customer trouble was reported at a Buell Street business, the subject left
before patrol arrived.
A suspicious vehicle was reported at the Akron Airport, everything
checked okay.
08/02 – Patrol assisted a citizen locked out of their car on Bloomingdale Road.
An alarm was reported on Indianola Avenue, it was accidental.
08/03 – A suspicious vehicle was reported on John Street, everything checked
okay.
Patrol located a runaway teenager from Niagara County on Buell Street,
they were turned over to the state police.
Disorderly persons were reported at Akron Falls Park, they were advised.

Found property was reported on Main Road, a wallet was turned over to
patrol.
Patrol assisted a motorist on Crittenden Road, directions were given.
A suspicious vehicle was reported in Akron Falls Park, everything checked
okay.
08/04 – A disturbance was reported on Eckerson Avenue, they were advised.
A fire was reported on Wesley Drive, a mobile home was destroyed, no
injuries were reported.
A disturbance was reported at a Main Street business, they were advised.
A domestic dispute was investigated on Pocono Park, no charges were
filed at this time.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Main Street.

First Aid responded to Buell St for a AED alarm activation.
Deputies assisted with a landlord tenant dispute on Fletcher Rd.

First Aid responded to Westgate Ave.
Akron Police arrested a subject on an active Arrest Warrant out of Depew, NY.
The Fire Department responded to Crittenden Rd for a gas line struck.
07/30/19
The Fire Department responded to Main St for a fire alarm activation. It was a false alarm.
A concerned motorist reported a vehicle traveling recklessly on Skyline Rd.
The Fire Department responded to Saratoga LA for a list assist.
A burglar alarm was activated on Main Rd. It was a false alarm.

07/31/19
First Aid responded to Bloomingdale Ave for a female having chest pains.

Multiple people were ejected from Akron Falls Park for jumping off the waterfall.
Police were called to Washington St to check on a report of screams in the area. The complaint was
unfounded.
The Dog Control Officer responded to Clarence Center Rd for a found dog.
08/01/19
Police conducted a welfare check on Shepard Ave.
First Aid responded to Westgate Ave for a female with abdominal pain.
First Aid responded to Havens Rd.

08/02/19
A burglar alarm was activated on Indianola Ave. It was set off in error.
Police assisted with a harassment complaint on Main Rd.
