05/19/19
A burglar alarm was activated on Oak St. It was a false alarm.
Deputies responded to a hit and run accident on Hunts Corners Rd. A parked vehicle was struck and
the suspect fled the scene.
First Aid responded to Main Rd for a female having cardiac issues.
First Aid responded to Holly St for a female having seizures.
05/20/19
Police took a report for damage done to a lock on Knapp Rd.
First Aid responded to Hawthorne St for a lift assist.
First Aid responded to Theodore Rd.
Deputies took a fraud report on Cedar ST.
05/21/19
First Aid responded to Crescent Dr for a female with chest pains.
First Aid responded to Brooklyn St.
Deputies responded to Bloomingdale Rd to investigate a report of a suspicious person in the area.
The subject was gone prior to patrols arrival.
A burglar alarm was activated on Lewis Rd. It was a false alarm.
05/22/19
Police assisted with an unwelcome guest on Eckerson Ave.

The Fire Department responded to Main St for a fire alarm activation.
Deputies responded to S Newstead Rd to check on a suspicious vehicle in the area. It was gone prior
to patrols arrival.
Deputies assisted with a neighbor dispute on Maple Rd.

Deputies assisted with a property exchange on Crittenden Rd.
05/24/19
A burglar alarm was activated on Cedar St. It was set off in error.
First Aid responded to Exchange St.
A two car motor vehicle accident was reported on Main Rd. No injuries were reported.
05/25/19
Police responded to a disturbance on Wesley Dr. No charges were filed.
The Fire Department responded to Sandhill Rd for a transformer fire.
First Aid responded to Thistle Downs Dr for a male having difficulty breathing.

05/20 – Criminal mischief was reported on Knapp Road, household items were
damaged.
05/21 – Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Crescent Drive.
05/22 – A suspicious incident was investigated on Eckerson Avenue, no problems
were found.
A sick fox was reported on Chestnut Street, animal control responded and
removed it.
A disturbance was reported on Main Street, all parties were advised and
sent on their way.
A fire alarm was reported at a Main Street business, it was a false alarm.
05/23 – The Akron Police Department staged a traffic safety seminar for the senior
class at the high school.
Illegal parking was reported on Main Street, one vehicle was tagged.
Found property was reported on Main Street, a purse was turned over to
patrol.
An unwelcome guest was reported on Buell Street, they left before patrol
arrived. The subject was located later and advised not to return.

 

05/24 – An alarm was reported on Cedar Street, it was accidental.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Exchange Street.
A car/dog accident was reported on Buell Street.
Lost property was reported to patrol, a Basom man reported that he lost
his wallet.
A car/deer accident was reported on Clarence Center Road.
05/25 – A suspicious person was reported on Westgate Avenue, they were gone
when patrol arrived.
A suspicious incident was investigated on John Street, no problems were
found at this time.
A disturbance was reported on Wesley Drive, the parties were calmed
down and advised.
Patrol responded to a Thistle Downs residence.
An alarm was reported on Hunts Corners Road, it was caused by a power
outage.
A disturbance was reported on Cedar Street, the subjects were advised.
A suspicious vehicle was reported on Buell Street, everything checked
okay.
05/26 – Criminal mischief was reported on Bloomingdale Road, a headstone had
been damaged.

A 911 hang up call was investigated on East Avenue, a child was playing
with the telephone.
Patrol responded to a first-aid call on Wesley Drive.
