Perry’s Ice Cream Takes Ohio

Our Own Perry’s Ice Cream has announced plans to expand into Ohio. This month Perry;s will be available in over 600 retailers and ice cream shops across Ohio.

“There’s a distinctive identity among the Great Lakes that unifies our region and influences our palates. Since 2016, Perry’s world-class distribution network has delivered partner brand products throughout Ohio and expanding into the state with our brand is a natural next-step,” said Robert Denning, president and CEO of Perry’s Ice Cream. “Plans are underway to introduce our products to consumers in Cleveland and Columbus this summer, including supporting the local communities through partnerships and events. We look forward to sharing the great taste of Perry’s with our neighbors in the Great Lakes region.”

With the new jobs, wages, benefits, and investment in fuel, tolls, food and lodging, Perry’s will directly invest about $6.3 million in the State of Ohio in 2019.

In addition, Perry’s has signed a five-year partnership with the Columbus Clippers, triple-A baseball affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, to sell its custard at Huntington Park.

Now all they need to do is introduce a new ice cream flavour called The Newsteader; Wild Black Raspberry with Dark Choc Chips.  Just sayin’   -JAP-
