Currently, there are 4 (four) weather alerts out there. Instead of posting them separately, in separate posts, with separate graphics, I am throwing caution to the wind, and just writing a summary of ALL of them. Really, I am just waiting for Spring! So I can bring you info about bees, flowers and trees. Helping our environment, helping our farmers, helping our local neighbors and businesses. I want to help you all brag about yours and your kids accomplishments. But……For now, we are stuck with………….Weather 🙄.
Here is what to expect for the next round:
Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Northern Erie, and Genesee counties are still under Winter Weather Advisory til 8:00 AM Thursday. Additional ice accumulation of another few hundredths of an inch is expected overnight. The morning commute could be REALLY slick, slippery and messy. Be mindful if you have to drive/walk anywhere. All the Flood Watches are still in effect. The National Weather Service has now issued a High Wind watch from Thursday evening until Friday afternoon for: Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, and Chautauqua counties. Expect 30-40 mph winds from the Southwest with gusts up to 60mph (!!) 😳. Strong wind gusts like this WILL bring down more trees and power lines. Scattered power outages and minor property damage is possible. So there you have it. Weather in a nutshell! -JAP-
