...LAKE EFFECT SNOW DEVELOPING ACROSS THE BUFFALO METRO AREA AND 
THE NORTHTOWNS AND NIAGARA FALLS THIS MORNING...

AT 900 AM EST, RADAR SHOWS A BROAD AREA OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW 
DEVELOPING ACROSS THE BUFFALO METRO AREA, NORTHTOWNS, AND NIAGARA 
FALLS. THIS SNOW, COMBINED WITH AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW, WILL LOWER 
VISIBILITY TO BELOW A HALF A MILE AT TIMES, WITH SNOWFALL RATES OF 
AN INCH PER HOUR. THE BAND IS EXPECTED TO SHIFT SLIGHTLY 
NORTHWESTWARD LATE THIS MORNING. EXPECT POOR TRAVEL CONDITIONS. 
CONDITIONS WILL WORSEN WITH TIME, ESPECIALLY LATE THIS AFTERNOON 
AND ONWARD WHEN THE BAND WILL BECOME NARROWER BUT MORE INTENSE.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 90 BETWEEN EXITS 57A AND 49.
