In the past, the speed limit for slow-moving farm equipment was 25 mph. We have all been stuck behind a few of those from time to time, right? A bipartisan measure sponsored by state Sen. Pam Helming, a Republican from Canandaigua in Ontario County, and Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner, a Democrat from Round Lake in Saratoga County has been signed into law to change this. The new legislation, that has been signed by the Governor, will increase the speed limit for farm equipment and other slow-moving vehicles to 35 mph. The Farm Bureau supports this new law.
